Ever since packaging day I've been poking around kde-apps and such looking for something good to package. Well, I finally found something, it's kdelicious (delicious plugin for konqueror). The problem is with versioning, when upstream is using git, how do I handle versioning? For instance, here's the tarball name: greghaynes-kdelicious-378f2bb427148bca87a2ba900de8dc98b9e91e19.tar.gz
It seems the author has updated the tarball to more sane versioning, so the best option seem to be asking such developers to be more sane :). Other option could be to use the release date as the version (greghaynes-kdelicious-0.1-20090410). -- Lubos Lunak KDE developer -------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org Lihovarska 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 972 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
