The trick with the widget i missed...
It works now.
About the wallet, it now showed itself again, but indeed, i did not use
it before because i found it overdone, a password for everything..(still do)
i hope it connects now without me have to activate kwallet and then
again the nm.
I like the network being up before TB and FF begin to connect.
How do i get the widget onto the panel?
It is now somewhere on the dashboard...

Maybe you haven't enabled kwallet? .. knm3 remembered password and
configuration fine for me.
To switch to knm4 you can do this for example.
1) zypper in NetworkManager-kde4
2) zypper rm NetworkManager-kde
3) Add 'Network Management' plasma widget
4) reboot
You probably shouldn't experiment with it, unless you have cabled network
access nearby in case of problems.
