Hi,
yes, it's a bit tricky like so much on KDE4, really userfriendly.
Open the paneloptions and then place the mouse over the icon you want to
move. The Mouse will change. With a click on the icon you can move it.

in kde 3 i could simply click the middle mousebutton on an icon in
kicker, and then drag the icon around to wherever i want it on the
panel... how do i do that in kde 4?
