If there's enough demand for it (Perhaps KDE 4.3 is really buggy) then no doubt KDE 4.2 will have it's own repository. Otherwise probably not. I really can't imagine too many people would upgrade to 4.2 and not want to go to 4.3 (when the time comes) if all is good.
In short, you really won't be left out in the cold because there are so many people in your boat.
