Ok, so please help me providing the required information.
I've installed KDE4.2 RC1 and when I check Enable strigi desktop
indexer in systemsettings the status "strigi service not running"
doesn't change. If I close systemsettings and run it the strigi box is
disabled.

here's the output in konsole when I try to enable strigi:

There aren't any error messages. It just won't work.
Please help providing me further information.
