Anyway, I just tried it again and the ZYpp backend was detected (after
an error message the first time). But still:
- Package (in contrast with "patch") updates aren't seen by
kupdateapplet-packagekit... neither by any other packagekit frontend I
found (but they neither have an option to select). Perhaps packagekit
just hasn't such an option and the kupdateapplet config doesn't really
does anything?
- Package updates are seen by kupdateapplet-zypp... but when trying to
install them kupdateapplet silently fails. It just says all the time
"1 update available". This specific update requires a change of arch,
perhaps that's problem... but still a bug that makes me prefer to run
a "zypper -v up" manually.
