There won't be 4.1.4 packages - but there might be important bugfixes
"backported" to 4.1.3.
Would you seriously prefer 4.1.4 over 4.2 if you're going to run unsupported
packages anyway?

I don't fully agree, STABLE has KDE 4.1.3 "release 69.2" whereas
openSUSE 11.1 came with KDE 4.1.3 "release 4.9". So they seem to
fix/update things in STABLE beyond YOU, what they do not fix/update
with the shipped openSUSE version... I just upgraded from "release 4.9"
of openSuSE 11.1 to "release 69.2"
They test it in STABLE before publishing the fix via YOU. So thanks for
testing and reporting. :)
Highly interesting ;-) If there will be newer versions like KDE 4.1.4
available in STABLE?
