Re: [opensuse-kde] Flaws since 11.1 update

two weeks ago I updated to 11.1. Running KDE 3.5.x KNetworkmanager was
working (rather connecting to my WAP2 encoded router), but running KDE
4.1.3 it doesn't. k3b was working, too, but from time to time it didn't
detect the CD-writer, but rarely.

If you use knm3 and it works with KDE3, it will work with KDE4 too.

I am sorry, it did not - reproducibly.

If it did
work and now stopped, something on your computer changed and you should know
best what you changed.

I keep my box up to date hoping to get rid of what does not work like it
should. That's all I did.

Two days ago KNetworkmanager also decided to not connect to the WLAN
router under KDE 3.5., I had to use wire. And k3b no longer detects the
CD-writer.

Thanx - though that does not answer my question, why did it work four
days ago?
