I've heard within the next week there maybe a new KDE minor version to appear, which also comes with a new version of Kopete that fixes a webcam issue. Are you talking about 4.1.4? .. or KDE 4.2.0 rc1?

It was announced on this list earlier that 4.1.4 packages would not become available
But 4.2 will?
