Hi,
I am having some problem with DPMS in KDE4.x (both 4.1 and 4.2)
I thought this was a driver problem related to my old radeon r200 card, but I
recently left my computer at the login screen (kdm) and noticed that the
monitor was in standby mode.
So it looks like this is a user setting.
I have enabled and disabled the different settings in "system settings" but
they don't seem to make any difference..
Anyone know anything about this?
What is strange is that my Xorg.0.log says:
(**) Option "dpms"
(**) RADEON(0): DPMS enabled
(II) RADEON(0): DPMS capabilities: Off
Thats why I thought it was a driver issue...but then kdm shouldn't be able to
use it...
regards,
Per
