[opensuse-kde] I cannot hear sound (KDE 4.1.2)

Hi,
I cannot hear any sound notification from KDE.
For example, I go to 'systemsettings' -> notifications, then I press
the "Play" little arrow button to hear the sound file for a notification
event but nothing is heared.
the 'systemsettings' -> sound configuration dialog, the sound motor is
Gstreamer (there is no other option for the motor).
