Hi,

I'm using KDE 4.1.1 from
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.0/

I'm trying to use Nepomuk, and this is what I get...

I enable 'Enable Nepomuk Semantic Desktop' from the system settings.
Nepomuk starts and I can add tags to files in Dolphin. After a while (a few
minutes), my old tags are gone, and when I try to add a new tag to a file, the
list of available tags has changed from

PACS and Documents

to

file:///Documents and nepomuk:/FMe7c7zZZPQSgpePfUr9

At the same time, I can see that strigidaemon is running (even when I did not
select to run strigi in the system settings).

After a while, I can see that both
dbus-daemon (30.2%)

and

nepomukservicestub nepomukstorage (38%)

are taking a lot of my memory (I have 2 gigabytes of RAM and a 64 bit intel
machine).

I've installed the sesame backend for soprano, and not the redland backend.

Is this a know KDE 4.1.1 bug, is this an opensuse problem or did I do
something wrong?

Before I did this tests, I removed my ~/.strigi directory and the
~/.kde4/share/apps/nepomuk directory.

Thanks,

Wim
