Hello,

System is:

OpenSuse 11.0
KDE 3.5.9
Amarok ist sleeping!

I'm trying to tell Amarok to get a collection of 24.121 Songs and Classics in
mp3 and ogg since now about two weeks!

It's always the same:

Amarok ist working between a night and two days an than threre is no
collection!

Amarok had gone without telling anything, displaying a message or error, it's
just away!

There is no chance to start it again!

I Remember on your way to KDE 4."WhatEverItWillBe" a MS-DOS 4.0!

I loved It REALLY!

Does the Community of KDE think, that this is a way to get new users? Or may
it be, that there are users going, and you don't think about this?

Tell me about this and - PLEASE - keep the quality, that I had known about a
time of about years! It was a 2.??? of KDE that I met first! Living with a
new platform and knowing that bugs are normal! But after years I thought,
that quality management ist a part of this software! May be that I#m wrong in
this point!

Over years I got people from an MS to Suse with the argument "KDE"! This time
has gone for me!

Show me and others a new way!

I have one suggestion, because I think, that your way to the aim is OK, but
not the way how you realize it!

Give a chance to engaged users to test KDE 4.x beside 3.x (may be up to a 3.6
or 3.7)! But in a way where 4.x doesn't touch the 3.x in any way!

Best regards

Wilfried

ps Sorry I#m a little bit out of use in writing English! Only speaking works
better!
