Disagree. I'll do but it's wasted time... and not only for end users butBad. I think that this is a clear example of thing that you
(kde-team) should take care of.
upstream is broken but this is not a good reason to keep things

Given how much work bulding a new environment was/is, it's a fair
decision to break backwards compatibility in this area.
