But they don't. Certainly not openSUSE. It's semi official that 11.1 is 
planned for release around December, because of SLE11 coming up. And that 
it'll have 4.1

4.2 for 11.1 will become available in the confusingly named :Factory repo as I 
understand it. Which apparently will have the factory version of KDE, 
backported to (some) released versions of openSUSE.
