Hello openSUSE KDE team! We are currently setting up a KDE 3.5 environment that makes heavy use of the Kiosk framework. This works very well, but we have run into some minor issues with some KDE applications that are not reflecting restrictions imposed on them by Kiosk in their GUI. These are the desktop KCM module and the konqueror sidebar ng. I have patched these two programms to work better in a kiosk environment. These patches were submitted into KDE SVN (branches/KDE/3.5/kdebase) as rev. 817673 and 817674. I further submitted the patches via your bugtracker (issues 397982 and 397985). It would be really great if these patches would make it into openSUSE 11. They should have little impact on a non-Kiosk system and do improve the experience for those people using kiosk to lock down their users desktops. Is there anything I can do to help get those patches into openSUSE?
