The Home icon has URL of /home/thudfoo, which is correct.
Sorry, I misread the first time.
Try this.
Open kcontrol -> KDE Components -> File associations -> Inode -> Directory
Make sure Konq is the top application.
It is the top application. I moved it down, back up, then pressed
Apply: gwenview still rules.
