Yes - that's what the factory repo is good for, isn't it ;) ?

No, I think we are talking about different sets of repositories here. Let me 
put it clearer: I'm using the openSUSE 11.0 factory repo, which currently 
includes KDE 4.0.1 RPMs (which in turn AFAIK are pulled from time to time 
from the KDE4 stable repo you are mentioning). 

I am NOT using the KDE4 unstable repo, which would include pre 4.1 packages.

I am, however, regularly updating the openSUSE factory packages, and here 
Konqueror has never been working for me since alpha 1 or something like that.
