to 10.1.
10.2 does not even install on my Via C3 hardware.
10.1 appears to be rock solid. All the other 10.3 problems I had are
gone. It'll take end-of-life for 10.1 to get me to move again and it
won't be to 10.3. Someone seems to be compiling 10.3 update packages
with instructions my poor little Via does not know.
Thanks

I suspect not even one of the newer updates or the ATI-Driver. We have a few
systems here with Intel915 Chips and the problem seems to be occurring with
one specific screen saver. (Motor). I myself use random screen savers without
problems except it starts motor. Could be a problem with OpenGL maybe but i
cannot say this for sure. A Colleague switched from Motor where his system
froze regularly to a 2D screensaver and he has no problems anymore.

I was away for almost a week recently and a large number of updates hadSven Burmeister <sven.burmeister@xxxxxxx> 02/03/08 10:45 AM >>>
accumulated in that time, including some for the Kernel, x11 and
something kde- related. One of those is presumably responsible but . . .
You can revert those updates and check which one is responsible.
