Hi,

I am running a vanilla Opensuse 10.3 system with all updates applied on
a Via C3 processor:

model : 7
model name : VIA Ezra
stepping : 8
cpu MHz : 863.019
cache size : 64 KB
fdiv_bug : no
hlt_bug : no
f00f_bug : no
coma_bug : no
fpu : yes
fpu_exception : yes
cpuid level : 1
wp : yes
flags : fpu de tsc msr cx8 mtrr pge mmx 3dnow up
bogomips : 1728.22
clflush size : 32

For around a week now, the Random Screen Saver has been crashing
whenever it has tried to start. I assume that it is trying some
instruction which my processor cannot handle.

I was away for almost a week recently and a large number of updates had
accumulated in that time, including some for the Kernel, x11 and
something kde-related. One of those is presumably responsible but . . .
