Hi Stephan and all,
now I've tested most of the ISO's and - BINGO - got the break. It is between version 1.85 and 1.86.
The first one does boot while the second does not, no ISOLINUX information etc appears on the screen.
So now I wish you good luck in finding the reason for the 'misbehaviour' of the versions 1.86 and above.
Hope this helps and soon more people will be able to test the KDE 4.0 LiveCD with openSUSE.
Please ask if you need more information about the hardware I tested on.
Cheers
Detlef
