Sorry, chaps, didn't work. Even starting KAddressBook with no std.vcf file 
generates the error message, a new, empty std.vcf file being created. The 
error message pops up 3 times on starting the app, as the data appears to be 
loading. Having dismissed the error dialogues, it recurs on closing the app.
