you have to improve the verboseness of your bugreports a little. what is
the backtrace of the close-crash?
no debugging symbols found...

Please install debuginfo packages then.

I did, but they had to get uninstalled to fullfill deps,
today using it to check if things would work better on kde4 with the rc4
kernel, than in kde3.
That is how i fond that the gstreamer engine in amarok did not suffer
from the crash, and that the fluendo mp3-codec would work, if the sound
would work..;-)

There are more things that do not work correct than meets the eye btw.

And you dislike thin menus? I think you're trying to say that you're
missing some option. Which option is it?
Well, normal unpacking of tar.gz files, fi.

anything else?

You know yourself what is not there.. ;-)

It was a serious question.

I am on 10.2 now, to burn the 10.3-GM_11.0-Alpha0 kde delta.
It was here also not recognised as an .iso image, but could be burned here.
On 11.0 there seemed to be a problem with the long name, jolliet cut of.
I could not get k3b to burn it in 11.0 A 0.1...

I hope to be able to install the rc3 kernel.
Where can i find out how to keep the old kernel, if a new one gets
installed?
That way i would be able to boot one that works.
Much simpler would be to keep the previous kernel on the server for a
while...
