[opensuse-kde] How to use pam_kwallet?

After following a link from Stephan Binner's Blog I discovered the
pam_kwallet package which seems to fix a long time KDE annoyance.
Currently I want to make an automatic connection to ICQ with kopete at login.
The annoyance is that I have to enter the kwallet password after login to get
the connection.
I changed /etc/pam,d/xdm as described in the README file. But somehow it does
not work as expected. I still have to enter the kwallet password...
My system runs openSUSE 10.3 with KDE3 from the KDE:KDE3 repository.
Cheers
Herbert
