I will eventually. But I will only be able to in about two weeks on my
home PC. At work... well... I can't even tell... But also will upgrade
eventually.

Forgot to mention. the DVD is a USB one.
All removable devices will not appear.

As might have already seen by my wrongly sent to openSUSE KDE list,
Alvin Beach was kind enough to send me an email stating that his
problems are similar to mines.

I'm kind of relieved... I was really thinking I was the only one...

Just to keep note that all this problems do disappear with the command:
kded --check && kded --new-startup
