I can't reproduce.

I created the files 01, 02, 11 and 12

Then I entered "1" as filter. Which filters out "02".

That's weird, for me Konqueror starts filtering only when I have more
than 1 character entered. So, unfortunately, I can't try out your
example! My 'sysinfo:' says '3.5.7 "release 72"', by the way.

Due to that 2-character restriction, my test for reproducing looks like
this:

aa1.txt
bb1.txt
ca1.txt

Now enter a1 in the filter input field, which will leave aa1.txt and
ca1.txt shown in the list. Select aa1.txt and shift-click ca1.txt, press
Del. My Konq now asks for confirmation about deletion of all three files.

A couple of us did some testing in #opensuse-kde.

The problem seems to depend on the view mode used in konq.

My reproduction attempts were with icon view, where the problem does not
exist - but (at least) with detailed list view the behaviour is exactly as
you describe.
