Trying to upgrade kde 3.5.5 to 3.5.7 on 10.2 After fighting with a Kmail crashing problem for two weeks (finally solved) a new problem has raised it's ugly head.

Hi Bob, A little Google research seems to indicate that your file associations (mime-types) have been damaged in some way. You can try correcting this by copying over the contents of ~/.kde/share/mimelnk/application/ from a backup or another (unbroken) user's directory. Just be sure to set/verify correct ownership and permissions afterwards. hth & regards, Carl --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
