ok, thankyou! But now I have a different problem...

at first, yum started downloading, but aborted. Currently it says:

i /v/l/yum.log is nothing (except updated ... with the last entry form May 
30th).

Where is the error-log or why does this not work, are there another unexpected 
dependecies?

I dont think that the repo-mirrors are disabled (due to high load or so) 
because I can download some of the files (didnt check all of them :-) 
manually via ftp/ konqueror.
