[opensuse-kde] Quanta+ ("3.5.7") unstable and resource heavy

After updating to latest KDE I have severe issues with Quanta
(kdewebdev3-3.5.7-2.4). The cpu goes to max very often for periods of 15-30
seconds - Quanta doesn't respond at all for this time. It happens mostly when
writing new tags, but sometimes also when just moving the cursor around with
arrow keys.
It happens a lot in a very large html document I have (~3000 lines)
(http://suse.linuxin.dk) , but also to a lesser degree with a smaller
document (http://godtigang.linuxin.dk/distro)
I've tried disabling various "auto"-features, but I can't seem to make it stop
or figure out if some option or check is causing this. However I was using
pretty much default settings from the beginning.
I have had similar issues before, though never as bad as now, and 3.5.6 was
the most reliable Quanta ever for me. But I simply had to give up on the
3.5.7 and use a different editor :-(
Can others confirm that Quanta 3.5.7 is behaving strange?
I'm thinking this must be a "quanta bug" rather than an "openSUSE bug", could
I be wrong?
The 3.5.7 changelog didn't mention many changes to quanta.. but of course
there were a couple..
