Majdi,
There are a couple of things that come to mind here. One is that you
just don't have something set up correctly on the machine. Probably
graphics. Also, you can't really use Windows as a test of any kind to
determine what might be wrong with your machine, as you're just not
comparing oranges to oranges.
Secondly, there is a setting in the Preferences of FF that allows you to
turn on "smooth scrolling", but I doubt that will fix your problem much
until you get things right with the system setup.
Also, remember, new machines have their problems too! ;-)
Since it does all work in Windows though, I suspect it's just your setup
and not the hardware.
