No, I didn't actually expect it to solve the problem, but it would
provide a simple method to get KDE restarted when the problem does
occur. Your problem seems to be another bug in 10.2 or the new files
you've downloaded. Maybe you should submit the bug to bugzilla to see
if any of the suse guys are aware of it. Otherwise, you could just
reinstall your old KDE files to see if that clears it up. If it does,
then it's possible the newly downloaded KDE files are to blame.
