Hi Fred, I was referring to time to get it set up more than time to download it. I have never done an KDE upgrade before and I don't know what is involved and how it needs to happen etc.???
Typically with an upgrade (particularly from SuSE repositry) you shouldn't have to do any setup work. You install it and continue working as you were for the most part. Sometimes the default method of doing something has changed, and you may stumble the first time it does something different, or when you look for an expected function that has moved or changed. Also you may not be immediately aware that there are added abilities.
I don't recall any particular setup work involved when updating KDE through YaST.
See:

So it is just a YaST rpm package that is a lot easier than I thought :). Thanks, George __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
