Kmail can do it.
What you need to do is create an Identity that does not have the receipt
feature on. Then, when you write an email to a mailing-list, select that
Identity.
Even easier, create the Identity, create a filter to store all email from the
list into its own folder. The right-click on the folder and select Properties
then set the Identity as the default.
