I don't use zip files, I prefer *.tar.gz. However, I tried it anyway and the
*.ZIP naming happened on my system as well.
The capitalisation does not occur with the .tar.gz extension.
Here is my info:
SUSE 9.3 Professional
SUSE-provided kernel: kernel-default-2.6.11.4-21.11
KDE 3.5.1 Level "a"
Ark 2.6.1
ReiserFS: reiserfs-3.6.18-3
The .ZIP extension occurred on the following files:
* OpenOffice.org Base (*.odb)
* A directory
Hope this helps,
Alvin
