Dear List
I just installed SUSE 9.3 yesterday.
When I login as root at the GUI user and password
it starts kde automatically.
When I log in as an NIS user I get a console window
Have a lot of fun...
Directory: /home/chook

linux: /home/chook>
I then have to type startkde or kde to start KDE.
When I end my session I have to also type in "exit" in the same window
to get the login screen back which I don't have to do as root.
Does anyone kno whow to change it so that starting and ending kde
is automatic for everyone.
Kelly
