Hello, I am running suse10.0 on my system and have some trouble starting sessions different from "kde", i.e. the only session type I can start is kde. In the "session type" menu of kdm I can see all kinds of sessions like "kde", "fvwm" or "WindowMaker". "kde" works but no matter what other session type I select kde is always started. I did not see anything in /var/log/messages or /var/log/warn or /var/log/kdm. Can anyone give me a hint where kdm searches for the list of sessions and where I might look for errors? I looked into /usr/share/xsessions for the sessions offered but even if I delete all ".desktop" files in this directory, restart kdm, the list of sessions for kdm is unchanged.
