You could use kcharselect to check this.
I love Luxi Sans a lot. As I'm using this right now for this mail I can scroll down to your example and see the special characters just fine, so perhaps you give this one a try.

Thanks a lot Daniel. That tool I'll try. Regards Erik

Hmmm, just a guess: Did you configure your font settings and accidentially chose a font which doesn't include those symbols?
Best, Daniel
Could be Daniel.
But if so it should have been done for the general KDE settings. If I did that, it has been done without me being carefully enough.
Can you suggest me a general setting in the Control Center, that include the lacking charcthers?.
TIA

Hi.
I use the SuSE 10.0 Eval. and KDE here.
I have written with another Dane, that is using the official SuSE 10.0. He found that setting Localization to Danmark, it all worked ok.
This unfortunately is not the case here with my SuSE 10.0 Eval..
For instance if I click on the KDE Menu, there should stand "Værktøjer", but no. There stands "V rkt jer".
The æ and ø lacks, and in general æøåÆØÅ lacks.
