so i tried this:
ghana:~ # chmod 755 /opt/kde3/lib/kde3/konq_iconview.*
chmod: cannot access `/opt/kde3/lib/kde3/konq_iconview.la': Permission
denied
chmod: cannot access `/opt/kde3/lib/kde3/konq_iconview.so': Permission
denied
