I derived this from a forum, where it was explained, how you can get a *different* look than Geramik for Gnome apps. There, they commented stuff out in startkde, but looking at that script, I saw that you can accomplish the same by touching ~/.no-qtrc-to-gtkrc-mapping.
I have done the same here, but for gtk2.0 apps, I choose the "Qt" Gnome theme (/opt/gnome/share/themes/Qt) and whatever theme I use in KDE, Gnome apps get the same look. I use Plastik with the Nuvola iconset and even the button icons (Ok, Cancel, Yes, No) get its matching icons from KDE apps. I haven't done a extensive test, but it has worked for Crystal iconset and other themes as well. Bruno
