Have a look at XScreenSaver. http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/ They
have one called "Atlantis". I think it only has sharks, whales, and
dolphins though, so I am not sure that counts. There are a lot of
cool, non-aquarium screensavers included with it as well.
There are instructions in their manual for using it with KDE or Gnome.

I co-worker has a powerbook running OSX, and it has this fancy little aquarium screen saver that's extremely realistic. He claims that's one thing his machine can do better than Linux... I want to shut him up :)
Running KDE 3.3.1 and SuSE 9.2.
