KDE 3.3 Devices problem

I recently upgraded my Suse 9.1 from 3.2.3 to 3.3, and now Konqueror
does no longer show the 'devices' tab on the side. Also the devices
applet in the kickerbar does no longer work.
I had to manualy remove the devices applet from kickerrc settings,
before kicker would actualy start.
How can I fix this problem?
(restoring devices in konqueror and the proper functioning of the applet)
