Hi,I never came across this problem yet, so this is just a guess:
after upgrading from Suse 8.2 to 9.1 I have a strange problem:
There are three mounted icons of (all '/' are gone):
devfd0mediafloppy
devdvdmediadvd
devdvdrammediadvdram
I can't delete them as I'd like too because I have those under the new 'Arbeitsplatz' folder which I like better.
Have a look in the /tmp/kde-(username)/Desktop* directory. There might be some *.desktop files, which you should copy to $HOME/Desktop, if you want them, or delete, if you don't. They are being created from hardware-autodetection and any leftovers might disturb your kde if they are adressing hardware which isn't really there.
