Hi Mario, You should be able to find kivio (it comes as part of koffice) or I use OpenOffice Draw. I wonder why your Karbon14 crashes? What version of KDE and SuSe?
This is SuSE 8.1 with KDE 3.2.1-12.
Have you tried running karbon14 in a console window and checking its output?
What I do is starting karbon, select "empty document" and select the rectangle button on the left and try to draw one. When I release the mouse button, karbon crashes. This is the output: mstreibe@max:~> karbon kdecore (KAction): WARNING: KAction::updateShortcut(): name = "edit_undo", cut = Ctrl+Z; No KAccel, probably missing a parent collection. kdecore (KAction): WARNING: KAction::updateShortcut(): name = "edit_redo", cut = Ctrl+Shift+Z; No KAccel, probably missing a parent collection. karbon: art_render_gradient.c:337: art_render_gradient_linear_render_8: Assertion `(stops[ix-1].offset <= offset_fraction + 1e-6) || ((stops[ix].offset > (1.0 - 1e-6)) && (offset_fraction < 1e-6 ))' failed. KCrash: Application 'karbon' crashing... Then the KDE crash manager comes up.
Personally I use OO for my office wants.
I'll probably give it a try too. Thanks Mario
