May have to cut and paste into address bar.
Hi Billie, Note: Please use the list email address and *not* personal email addresses when replying. You have to manually edit the To: field before clicking 'Send.' I (usually) do this immediately upon clicking 'Reply' so I don't forget to edit it later. Also, delete any second email address that may appear in the cc: field (...unless you're purposely copying someone not subscribed to the list.) These procedures keep threads in order, if not coherent, for posterity ;-) They also conserve packets and keep your recipient's inbox neat. ;-) Ok, on to our topic... Thanks for the hw clarification. I've done some digging online and now know that your SS 5100 is operating as a simple bridge. You've said you can surf using the SuSE client but not access email. This says the link between the SS 5100 and your router is ok. It also means the link to your isp is ok. Dull, I know, but we're narrowing the field of potential problems... The next obvious important questions are: Can you surf at the same time from all three clients? If so, the router's dhcp server is working *and* each client is correctly using it's dynamically assigned ip address -- that would be a good thing! Also, is email functioning on either of the other two clients? Let me know what you find... Finally, would you please clarify if your router is acting as a switch/hub, also, or do you have a separate switch/hub connecting your clients to the router? regards, - Carl - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - C.
