:-) Believe me I didn't forget this.

This is what I tried before but id doesn't work.

If I do this konqueror tries to mount the cdrom which is surely not
the right thing to do for an audio CD. And of course this fails, no
matter with which cd drive I do this. I get an error from
kio_devicesmounthelper that the filesystem type could not be
determined.

As I said I have no problem mounting data cds nor do I have problems
playing audio cds in xmms.

Am I missing something? What are the prerequisites? I remember when
upgrading to kde 3.2 I had to omit some rpms because of conflicts
or missing dependencies which I was not able to resolve. The
following are left over up to now:

kdeaddons3-kate-3.1.4-39.i586.rpm
kdeaddons3-konqueror-3.1.4-39.i586.rpm
kdeaddons3-sound-3.1.4-39.i586.rpm

If I try to install them I get

error: failed dependencies:
libkateinterfaces.so is needed by kdeaddons3-kate-3.1.4-39
libkmultitabbar.so.0 is needed by kdeaddons3-kate-3.1.4-39
libkonqsidebarplugin.so.0 is needed by
kdeaddons3-konqueror-3.1.4-39
libnoatun.so.0 is needed by kdeaddons3-sound-3.1.4-39
libnoatuncontrols.so.0 is needed by
kdeaddons3-sound-3.1.4-39
libnoatuntags.so.0 is needed by kdeaddons3-sound-3.1.4-39

Is any of them required for the audiocd:/ to work? Or anything else
that I might have overlooked? Where do I get these deps from?

Any help is much appreciated.
