Hallo,
my K-Menue behaves in a strange fashion since the update to KDE 3.2. From time to time it seems that the right side is truncated. This affects only the first level of the menue. The effect disappears after deleting ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc and restarting the kicker. After starting some programms the strange behavior reappears.
It's because the 'Most Used Application'/'Recently Used Applications' menu title pushes the menu to the right but the area that is drawn is not updated to match this. Hence the right of the menu gets chopped off and the sub menus look like they are not attached to the main K menu. To solve this you can either reduce the menu font size, although I think you have to set it so small that this is not feasible, or turn off the menu titles which has it's own little bug (See 'Disabling Category Titles' here: http://kde.ground.cz/tiki-index.php?page=Secret+Config+Settings ). I can't find either problem as a submitted KDE bug, but I don't know whether this is just a problem with the SuSE rpms. - -- Colin Pinkney http://www.cpinkney.org.uk -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAKUlFioDqRlN9/eURAn6kAKC/30Z+z9awxXkO8fNymCt6rVjiGQCbBGhx EP4Q3LHFpV53f3KyARJl49Q= =rYHd -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
