I've upgraded KDE on my SUSE 9.0 system to 3.2. k3b was not included in the upgrade. When I try to upgrade to k3b 0.11, it says there are missing dependencies (about 4 libk3b... files). I cannot find these files with synaptic (they're not in 'Not Installed' files).
Anyone else have this issue or know how to work around this. k3b is currently showing up on upgrades as 'held back' because of this.
You can add the packman apt directory to your sources.list and you'll find that 0.11.2 is among the packages available. :) ==========
That is true, 0.11.2 is available, but it seems to need some libs not available to install. I believe it was libk3bdevice and some others. I haven't found a file that includes those yet, but I'm guessing you have Ben for it to install?
Well, I stand corrected. I've got 9.0 installed at work and just tried to install k3b (even though I don't have a burner) and it puked with the error you discribe. I went to my home machine that has a burner and checked which pkg it came with it..it came with k3b. So the packman pkg is indeed broken. I compiled the k3b pkg that's installed on my 8.2 box.
