Well here is what I did on my SuSE 8.2 system with KDE 3.1.4 before I stopped. select Control Center select YaST2 modules select software select install and Remove Software saw that filter is set to selections: selected KDE Desktop Environment checked all the components where the installed version is 3.1.4 and set to update to 3.2.0 select accept and got the following dependency issues. How can I upgrade individual compents using Yast?
You should be able to select them using the "install software" option as long as there are no problems with dependencies -- and I think it's also possible to override the dependency problems. I'm using the 9.0 version of Yast, so there might be small differences.
