Hmm,
I am running Suse 8.1 as well.
Configureation: Kernel 2.6.3, Kde 3.2.0, XFree 4.3, Qt3-3.3.0
All is running sooth and fine.
You need to have qt3, qt3-devel and qt3-non-mt installed.
That's all. And do not forget to run SuSEconfig.
Did you check with rpm -q that the qt3 rpms
are really available on your box?
What sources are you trying to compile ?
By the way: libkdenetwork is included in kdepim..
