Hi: I just completeed a clean install of SuSE 9.0. When I try to run my Perl signature script see below:
# get current kernel version $version = `uname -r`;
# get current uptime @uptime = split /\s+/, qx(uptime); ($hours, $minutes) = split /[:,]/, $uptime[5]; $disp = "Current Linux uptime: " . $uptime[3] . " days " . $hours . " hours " . $minutes . " minutes.";
# version string has built-in newline. print "\tYours,\n\tRalph.\nIt said Use Windows XP or better, so I installed SuSE-Linux 8.1 \nRegister Linux User 168814 ICQ #49993234 AIM ralphdewitt jabber.org ralphdewitt\nGPG Public Key available at http://www.keyserver.net \nKey fingerprint = 6426 1CFF 0987 9D51 76D6 06BC F22A CFF4 559A 03E7 \nKernel version $version$disp\n";
exit(0);
I get the following error:
Failed to execute signature script uptime2.pl: Unknown error 127
Can someone help me correct the problem? I do not have a clue were to look, or what to fix. This worked in my SuSE 8.1 install. Thanks for your help.
Ralph Hi all: Found the problem. I did not have the full path to the file. That is corrected now. Sorry for bothering everyone.
